ABOUT
Over the years, Lauren has worked with students of all ages from Pre-K to grade 12. Specializing in English Language Arts and Students with Disabilities, striving to make sure each child gets the attention and help they need to be successful in their academics & beyond. A New York State certified teacher working in a Charter High School teaching English, I have over 10 years prior experience working with all age groups and levels. Students with disabilities are welcome.
Two Terrific Tutors works privately 1:1, or in small groups. We teach English Language Arts, Reading and Writing strategies for all children of all ages. We have experience in Hochman Writing Method & Strategies, Wilson, Teachers College and Read 180. Test prep is available for the New York State Tests (grades 3-8), G&T Test, SHSAT, TACHS exam and other standardized tests. Math help is available for grades Pre-k-Grade 4. We focus on structure and teaching strategies to help your child be successful in all of their educational years & beyond.
